What's the origin of GabeN?
GabeN as a meme started in 2010. during the reveal of Team Fortress 2 while commentating, Gabe Newell said his email address witch starts with the word “gaben”.
This has started a YouTube meme spread with funny GabeN mashup videos and later became the “Lord Gaben” meme/reaction image, when steam sales started to rise in popularity, but on streaming sites like Twitch.tv the meme started to spread with unboxing videos becoming more common.
