Mid-2017 a YouTuber uploaded a video with the sideshow of a man wearing costume of the Crash Bandicoot game franchise character Aku Aku, attempting to order a pizza for delivery, and confusing the restaurant employee by requesting a boneless pizza.
The video today has more than 11 million views on YouTube and became a frequently used/referenced meme.

How did Boneless Pizza spread?
Prank calling pizza delivery places was already a big thing on the internet and especially YouTube, but the first upload of Boneless Pizza in 2017 has sparked an increase in the interest of such acts.
Since then the original uploader has created sequel video which were all uploaded to YouTube, were he now uses other “meme terms” as well like: “Did you just assume my gender?” to take the comedy act even further.
Since then, Boneless Pizza has been referenced on messaging boards like 4chan and Reddit, but its main audience still resides on YouTube.
