The phrase was first heard in Titanic which premiered in the United States on December 19th, 1997.
One of the scenes depict Jack (portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio) showing Rose (played by Kate Winslet) his sketches of naked women.
Rose then turns to Jack and promptly tells him “draw me like one of your French girls”.
