Origin

What's the origin of One Kiss is All It Takes (iShowSpeed Meme)?

The “One Kiss is All It Takes” meme originates from a live stream of YouTuber iShowSpeed, uploaded on August 12th, 2022. During the stream, the YouTuber was playing the video game Just Dance, when his audience asked him to dance along to “One Kiss” by Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris.

The streamer proceeded to play the song, warning the audience, that “this better not be no girl song.” Unfortunately, it was indeed what he would consider a “girl song.”

Upon reaching the chorus of the song, Speed was singing along and imitating the moves of the dance, however, at the sudden realization of the girliness of the song, he threw his headphones on the ground and kicked them to his computer screen, almost breaking it, and his camera, in the process.

The clip gained a large amount of views since then, although the original stream was deleted by the YouTuber.
