He never hesitates to articulate his enthusiasm and the pride that he takes from this job at any given opportunity.

The pilot episode is the first episode when Hank utters “I provide the people of this community with propane and propane accessories”.

He carries on with his behavior throughout the entire series, making his point several times to his peers.

This comical touch of his character laid down the foundations of the meme, that Hank’s catchphrase has become on the internet.

One of the first memes regarding Hank’s love of propane gas surfaced on the internet in 2007, in the form of a demotivational poster.

Later in around 2009-2010, 4chan users started exploiting the format and produced a variety of the freshly found meme. This resulted in a jump of search interest on google.

In the 2010s propane and propane accessories were used in different contexts and communities on Reddit and Tumblr.
