According to all known laws of aviation is the half-finished introductory line of the iconic Bee Movie.
The full quote goes as “According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly”.
It may also be referred to as The Bee Movie Script and is predominantly spread around as either a copypasta or the sound footage for video remixes.
Bee Movie premiered in the United States on October 28th, 2007, presenting viewers with the tale of an industrious bee, and his exploits in the human world.
Not long after the animation’s release, the full script of the motion picture was made available on the screenplay database site Script-O-Rama, which script would later be used for spreading the titular copypasta.
The full version reads:
“According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible.”
The movie started gaining a significant following on Tumblr starting in 2013, following a post on September 16th, by KIDOUYUUTO, sharing the “According to all known laws of aviation” copypasta.
Within a few days, numerous other posts would appear on Tumblr.
In the years to follow, the entire script of the movie was serving as a copypasta for the dedicated users, who spammed it on sites ranging from Facebook to Twitter to even YouTube where auto-narrative versions were also rampant.
As a result, Tumblr users continued the trend of sharing entire scripts with movies like Shrek and The Dark Knight Rises.
