Forniphilia is referring to the attraction to human bodies, composed in a manner, that they resemble furniture.
This practice is especially prevalent in BDSM circles, where, if someone gains dominator status, may order the submissive to pose as a chair, a table or whatever actual furnishings they prefer.
What's the origin of Forniphilia?
Several examples may be shown, how people indulge in the beauties of the human body in different, furniture like poses.
Allen Jones’ “Hatstand, Table and Chair” is an excellent example about forniphilia being adopted in art, this in particular, sculpting anthropomorphic statues of naked women, posing as fittings.
