The catchphrase was first used in the context of Nintendo on June 12th, 2018, during a Direct stream, where Masahiro Sakurai announced Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, exclaiming “Everyone is here!”.

How did Everyone Is Here spread?
Within the following days, parodies of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate trailer started surfacing on YouTube featuring characters from other brand universes.
At the same time, however Nintendo fans would take inspiration of the catchphrase and upload artworks on sites like DeviantArt based on the line “Everyone is here”.
