Gorlock The Destroyer, alternatively Gorlock the Devourer is the mocking moniker given to blogger Ali C. Lopez, following an appearance on the “Whatever Podcast” in 2023.
The blogger became the subject of countless memes, parodies and mean jokes online, making fun of her being an SSBBW. The most popular parody of the blogger was a combination of a video of her speaking, with the voice of Jabba the Hutt.

What's the origin of Gorlock The Destroyer?
The meme started out as an innocent episode of the “Whatever Podcast,” featuring a couple of girls, including Ali C. Lopez. The episode was the 69th episode of the series, and was streamed on April 25th, 2023, under the title “RAGEQUIT KEEKO vs. CHASE! Round 2! FIGHT! | Dating Talk #69.”
On the following day, Twitter user @RichardRatBoy1 shared a tweet, where he shouted out the guests of the show, including Ali C. Lopez, calling her “Gorlock the Destroyer.”
The same day, @TheOnlyDSC shared a video on Twitter, where he mashed up the video of Lopez talking with the voice of Jabba the Hutt.

How did Gorlock The Destroyer spread?
The rest of April 2023 was defined by the spread of “Gorlock The Destroyer,” who swarmed Twitter and TikTok with parodies and remixes, falling prey to the malicious humor of the internet.
Videos later also began emerging on YouTube, either as reuploads, or as original creations, jumping on the bandwagon of the trend.
However, the “Gorlock The Destroyer” trend soon began dying down, being replaced by other trends by the middle of 2023.
