There Will Be Blood premiered in the United States on September 27th, 2007.

The final scene of the movie depicts Eli Sunday attempting to sell his final plot of land, unowned by his rival Daniel Plainview (portrayed by Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano respectively).

Plainview reacts to this, by explaining he already owns the oil in that land, thanks to draining it on to his lands.

It is here, he says the iconic lines “If you have a milkshake and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw, my straw reaches across the room and starts to drink your milkshake.” “I drink your milkshake”.
