The slang Turd Burglar has many meanings to it.

Most people when using the slang “turd burglar” refer to the scenario of when they are pooping in a public toilet (mainly in offices, workplaces) someone knocks on the door, or even tries to open it.

The second most used meaning of the term is referring to someone who is a total idiot and does things that are uncalled for.

The slang can also refer to the act of homosexual anal sex.


What's the origin of Turd Burglar?

The term originates from the movie Beavis and Butthead do America, which aired for the first time in 1996.

From that point on, the term received more recognition, and it was more well-known.

How did Turd Burglar spread?

The term was also popularized by the eighth episode of the twenty-third season of the American animated television series South Park, which was titled “Turd Burglars”.

The episode premiered on Comedy Central in the United States on November 27, 2019.

There are also other references in movies and books, including in One Train Later written by Andy Summers, in which one character says “If you are gay at this time, you are queer or ginger or nancy or a turd burglar, and you had better keep your identity hidden.”
