Meaning
What does Wigga mean?
Wigga and its alternate forms, whigga and wigger are all terms used for those suburban teens, that are currently in their hip hop phase and adopt ghetto lingo, dress like what they consider “hood fashion” (usually FUBU, Wu-Tang or other similar clothes brands, that are at least three times their size).
They have the little to none actual affiliation with Afro-American culture and are simply acting like they were part of the hood life.
“Wigga” is a slur for these people, so its use may result in conflict.
Rockstar Games presents us with a perfect example of a “wigga” in their 2013 game, Grand Theft Auto 5, in the form of Jimmy DeSanta, son of one of the main protagonist of the video game.
