What does Buckle My Shoe mean?
Buckle My Shoe refers to a classic nursery rhyme, called “One, Two, Buckle My Shoe,” that was turned into a viral meme on TikTok, inspiring parodies and exploitable videos.
Songs about shoes have an important position in Anglo-Saxon culture – see Goody Two Shoes, or G Fazos – and this banger was resurrected on TikTok thanks to some Lit lyric modifications, incorporating the Nike cult into the rhyme.
