What's the origin of JoJo to Be Continued?
The British progressive rock band Yes released their song “Roundabout” in January 1972, along with their studio album “Fragile”.
“Roundabout” started gaining much of its current popularity in 2012, when the anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures was launched.
The song appears at the end of the first two arcs of the anime: “Phantom Blood” and “Battle Tendency”.

Initially, the “JoJo to be continued” meme would start with Vine mashups in January 2016.
However, at the same time, YouTube would also see many videos, using the format at the climax of their content.
The trend would be most rampant in the years 2016 and 2017, however, as of 2021, one may still find content posing “JoJo to be continued”.
