What does Zoomers mean?
Zoomers are all members of Generation Z or Gen Z (born after the late 90’s or early 2000’s).
It is a meme that had spread shortly after the creation of the Boomer meme and turned against the younger generation, in the form of several threads on 4chan with redrawn pictures of Feels Guy, with emblems frequent on little Zoomer kids (shaved sides and combed back hairstyle, as well as Monster energy drink and Tide Pods).
Zoomers are also known for their love for battle royale games (mostly Fortnite) as well as mumble rap and their anxiety around real life humans (especially women).
Origin
What's the origin of Zoomers?
The original Zoomer was submitted to 4chan, in 2018, with illustrations to all he loves, as well as the copypasta text, “that 15 year old zoomer who proposed to his crush on messenger”.
Spread & Usage
How did Zoomers spread?
The meme was an instant success, with its format being adopted and recreated in different pictures, depicting the life and hardships of the generic Gen Z boy, such as dad not turning of the lawnmower for Fortnite or having to listen to metal music.
Month after its birth, Zoomer had gained a lot of attention on YouTube, with its brothers, Doomer and Bloomer.
