What does Chudjak mean?

Chudjak is yet another variant of the popular Wojak meme template, meant to represent a typical user of 4chan, and its notorious /pol/ board. Because of this, meme is also frequently called Le /pol/ face and Le Pollack.

It is meant to be the amalgamation of the archetypal Incel, sculpted from the face of Patrick Crusius, the perpetrator of the 2019 El Paso Shooting.

What's the origin of Chudjak?

The “Chudjak” meme began making appearances of 4chan in August 2019, although in a different form, commonly called Le /pol/ face.

It later started making appearances on the left-wing forum Bunkerchan, mostly emerging in the summer of 2020. It was consciously based on the face of the notorious El Paso shooter, Patrick Crusius, and was the subject of memes and jokes about incels and terminally online people.

“Chudjak” was later included into the wider lore of Soyjak memes, being associated with highly insecure and overcompensating masculine figures.

Spread & Usage

How did Chudjak spread?

Throughout the early 2020s, “Chudjak” gained a prominent position on the boards of 4chan, while also being the central image of the famous Bunkerchan raid, where 4chan users spammed the image board with bizarre images and disturbing posts.

This event spawned even more cases of image macro memes, coming from both sides of the incident. Left- and right-wing users both tried to appropriate cultural stereotypes of the other to the meme.

“Chudjak” also inspired various other memes, including the GigaChud meme, a blend of the characters Big Lez and GigaChadused to invoke feelings of masculinity.
