What's the origin of Visible Confusion?
Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones premiered in the United States on May 12th, 2002.
In one of the scenes, Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by Ewan McGregor) is depicted investigating a mysterious planet, Kamino, only to learn about its inhabitants building an army, ordered by the Jedi Council.
It is here, Master Kenobi is displaying “Visible Confusion” on his face.

“Visible Confusion” was turned into an image macro meme on April 6th, 2017, when Reddit user u/Rampage470 uploaded a GIF created from the aforementioned scene to the r/PrequelMemes sub.
