FeelsGoodMan is the very first meme created based on the character Pepe the Frog. Pepe the Frog is a character from the comic called “Boys Club”, created by Mat Furie in 2006.

The happy frog face was taken from one of the strips and quickly turned into a reaction image and then later an emote for the streaming website Twitch.tv as part of the browser extension FrankerFaceZ.

The comic features various characters as well as Pepe the Frog, who the meme is based on. The happy frog face was copy pasted from one of these and quickly turned into a reaction image, then a unique emote for the streaming website Twitch.tv in 2016.
